I made this up for lunch and this is fast to whip up and low fat too!! What more could anyone ask for. Delicious!!
- 2 cups instant brown rice
- 2 (16 ounce) cans red beans (Blue Runner New Orleans spicy cream style)
- 14 ounces smoked turkey sausage
- 1 large onion (diced)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (few dashes)
- Cook rice according to directions.
- cut up sausage and dice onions and cook in deep skillet over mediuim high heat.
- add rice, beans and seasonings to taste
- cook until heated through.
