This is a delicious dip recipe to serve with sliced fruit...you will love this! To adjust the sweetness as desired, the brown sugar and/or honey can be adjusted to taste.
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1⁄2 pint whipping cream (whipped)
- 5 tablespoons brown sugar or 5 tablespoons honey, to taste
- 1 tablespoon dark rum
- 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier
- Mix together all ingredients in a bowl (adjusting all ingredients to suit taste) and serve as a dip or topping.
Don't pass this easy delicious recipe up! I made this exactly as written and served with sliced apples, banana, grapes and strawberries. This is a perfect recipe for summer seasonal fruits, although I could be tempted just to eat it with a spoon or over some pound cake. Thanks for another keeper, Kitten! Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders.
This is wonderful - I served the dip with sliced apples, peaches, pears and grapes - delicious! I used the honey option and skipped the Grand Marnier, but used low fat sour cream (no one could tell). This was a hit at my sewing group! Thanks for sharing this keeper which we will be having again!
