Really Easy, Really Great Spaghetti Sauce

My mother always made this for her lasagne, and one day I made it to go over pasta and my family loved it. If I alter it in any way, they know, and my son won't eat any other red sauce.


  1. Brown the italian sausage in a large skillet.
  2. Pour in the cans of crushed tomatoes and basil, salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Simmer for about an hour and serve.
  4. This is great over pasta, or as the red sauce in lasagne.
