- 1 cup semolina
- 1⁄2 cup ghee
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon fried silvered almonds
- 1 tablespoon fried sultana
- Melt the ghee and add the semolina.
- Fry until light brown in colour.
- Add water, milk and sugar.
- Cook over medium heat until it is of porridge consistency.
- Serve in a deep dish.
- Decorate with grated nutmeg, almonds and sultanas.
