Raspberry/Walnut Baked Ham

"I needed to bring a baked ham to my daughter's for Easter. I'm diabetic and I do not usually put a sweet sauce on my hams but decided I could try something new. Everyone absolutely loved this ham not knowing it was "sugar free""

I'm a mother of 3 and grandmother of 8. I've been married 38 years. I love to cook and it seems others love to eat what I cook so that's a pretty good deal. I was born and raised in Aroostook County, Maine. I met my husband when he was stationed at Loring AFB and since he is an 'Okie' we live in Oklahoma. My main cooking accomplishments seem to be main dishes. I will bake desserts but it's not my favorite thing to do. I like to try new receipes but after two or three trys with if I haven't mastered it, I'll shy away. For instance, I can't make chocolate non-bake cookies. You know, the ones with oatmeal and peanutbutter? They either will be gooey or so dry they crumble. So, I leave them to those who can and go on to something else. I love to do cross-word puzzles, trivia, embroidery and I'm making baby quilts for my grandchildren. I also love to read I'm a born again, Spirit filled Christian and enjoy church and fellowship.
