- 4 lbs raspberries
- 2 cups vinegar
- sugar
- brandy (optional)
directions
- Mash berries; add vinegar and let stand for 4 days, stirring daily.
- Strain; to each cup of liquid add one cup of sugar.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes.
- Strain and if desired, add 2 ounces brandy per quart of finished vinegar and bottle.
- Store in refrigerator.
