  • Add raspberry preserves and chili sauce.
  • Reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add pineapple chunks and cook for 1-2 minutes, to heat through.
  • Serve with toothpicks and cocktail napkins.

  • Then strain through a sieve to remove the seeds.

  1. This was fairly simple, fairly tasty, and the kids all ate it without complaint. It seemed like the ratios might be off -- we used 4 chicken breasts and it still seemed like there was more than enough sauce. So, I'd either double the chicken or cut the other stuff in half. Also, use only 1 TBSP of oil.

  2. Good sweet and sour kind of chicken dish.I couldn't find seedless preserves so I used jam instead. I made this and served it over rice. I might try it without the pineapple chunks next time though b/c my kids didn't care for them.Easy to make & tasted good too! 1 cup of chili sauce is equal to a 12 oz bottle so you don't need to measure it just pour it in!

(As many of you know Silent Cricket passed away on Feb. 29. Since she loved Recipezaar so much and so many on Recipezaar have shown their love for her, and have enjoyed her recipes, her personal information will remain here indefinitely just as she wrote it. Her lines at the end of this section sound somewhat prophetic as the last chapter of her earthly existence has been written.) Well, the time has come for me to change my users' name. After being, "OzCoMartha" because of having lived for three years in Australia and then moving to Colorado, I have decided to "turn over a new leaf." I chose this name because many moons ago I used to be able to "chirp" like a cricket and the "silent" refers to the present time when I'm taking a break...But, perhaps after a season, however long I decide that needs to be, I may be back and then I will fill in more details about myself...
