I enjoyed these tasty waffles very much. They were light, tender and fluffy. Crisp on the outside and tender and flavourful on the inside. I was out of raspberry preserves so I used strawberry preserves and the pecans. Just delicious. I added a little butter and icing sugar as garnish. It was so good that it didn't need any syrup. Thanks so much for sharing.

This was okay but don't think I'll make again. The raspberry flavor was not very strong, maybe it needed more preserves or maybe it was the brand I used.

Enjoyed by all. I have a defective waffle iron, so hesitated to make these. My waffle iron doesn't get hot enough to make the outsides of the waffled crispy, :( . I used some home-made raspberry jelly, rather than preserves, so the texture was probably a little different than intented, but the taste was still awesome. Now, I've just got to get a new waffle iron!

5 stars. Mmmm so good! I knew these were delicious once I took a bite without any toppings and realized they did not need any! The bits of raspberry preserves that did not completely mix with the batter were so good as it was like biting into a small piece of raspberry. The overall flavour was great. I enjoyed these with raspberry preserves mixed with a little maple syrup. Delicious! Reviewed for RSC #11.

4 stars! These are very quick and easy to put together. The batter is quite runny so I found them sticking to the waffle iron. They also didn't take as long to cook as other waffles do. Next time I would probably add a bit more flour. They had a nice flavor though, and we enjoyed them. Made and reviewed for RSC#11.

4 stars. I loved the pecans in these waffles. I served it with some raspberry dessert topping and a touch of whipped cream. Made for a sweet treat for breakfast. I was a little confused about folding in the rapberry preserves. My preserves would not mix in very well while folding. I made one as the batter was after folding and too big of chunks of preserves led to holes in the waffle. The preserves also caused the iron to get pretty sticky. I then started smashing the preserves against the sides of the bowl and then mixed that in. In making these again, I would melt the jam in the microwave a bit and then let it cool before adding to the batter. I like the creative use of contest ingredients!

My family loved the taste of these waffles. Easy to put together, too! Great flavor...love the addition of pecans and raspberry preserves..yum! The only difficulty I had was that the batter kept wanting to stick to my waffle iron. Next time, more spray oil! My waffles were done faster than avg. Thanks for the great recipe!

There is something wrong with the all-purpose flour ingredients in this. I added 1 1/2 cup MORE flour in order to get my waffles to set up right. I also added 1/4 cup more raspberry preserves but mostly because my children liked the taste of raspberries. After adding the extra flour this set up fine in my waffle iron and we enjoyed this recipe. Made for RSC #11.
