Quick and easy!
- 1⁄2 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup low-fat milk
- 1 cup frozen low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1 frozen banana (optional)
- Whirl all ingredients together in a blender or smoothie maker until smooth.
- Serve immediately.
I loved the consistency of this - and think it would be great with strawberries perhaps, instead of raspberries. I made it as written and really wanted to like it, but it tasted almost identical to cough syrup to me. I think maybe adding honey and up-ing the berry factor to a full cup might help, so I'll try that next time. Thanks for sharing!
I really like the consistency of the smoothie and the inclusion of the frozen yogurt. I didn't care for the raspberry/peach combination as much as I thought I would, so I may try different flavors in the future. Thanks for the recipe! Made for Healthy Choices ABC Tag.
Have made a few smoothies with a milk base, & although I usually start with pineapple juice, I still think of the dairy thing as a nice change for me! I did use a banana, but not frozen, since there was so much other frozen fruit used! You've definitely got a winning smoothie here! Thanks for sharing!
