Raspberry Iced Tea

ingredients
- 8 1⁄2 cups water
- 2⁄3 cup sugar
- 5 tea bags
- 3 1⁄2 cups raspberries
directions
- Bring 4 cups water to a boil.
- Add sugar and tea bags; steep for 6 minutes.
- Discard tea bags.
- Add 4 cups water.
- In saucepan mix raspberries with remaining 1/2 cup water.
- Bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 3 minutes.
- Push berries through a strainer to remove seeds.
- Add berry mixture to tea mixture, serve over ice.

We LOVED it! The only change I had to make was use frozen raspberries instead of fresh and I didn't bother to boil them, but I blended them in a food processor and then passed it through the seive to remove seeds. Very refreshing! Thank you MizzNezz, for sharing this wonderful recipe, definitely will be making it again! :)

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
