Vad en underbar torsten slacka! What a wonderful thirst quencher! Refining my Swedish-lol! Enjoyed with Berry, Berry Good Muffins. Thank you Random Rachel for the special afternoon treat that I served-- all gave it a 5. Made for Unrulies Under the Influence during ZWT6.
Splendid Ice Tea! The color is beautiful as is the flavor which is very nicely balanced. Made as written using Splenda and Celestial Seasonings raspberry zinger, being this was such a great tea you know it will be again.
How divine! I love the flavor of the fresh fruit in this!! I did not strain the fruit out because I like finding little chewy tidbits in my drink...call me weird. Made for ZWT 6 and much enjoyed. (-:
Yummy! This was a lovely, subtle tea that was perfect for a warm afternoon. I decided to try green tea as I was curious and hadn't seen another reviewer who had done it. I think it worked out great, and is a lovely way to get green tea into your diet. I backed off on the sugar fairly significantly as I tend to prefer unsweetened tea, and I think the mashed berries (I did it, too!) gave plenty of sweetness to which I added just a touch of sugar. The real treat, though, was eating the berries after I strained the liquid--they had absorbed the tea/sugar/lemon and were SO yummy! Made for Zingo--ZWT 6.
Made 4 servings, this was good. I used 3 tablespoons Splenda and it worked out well. It's much better than the commercial flavored tea available. Thanks for posting Rachel. Made for Zwizzle Chicks for ZWT6 ZINGO.
I love Raspberry Tea so I knew I would love this recipe! Next time I am going to make sure that I mash the raspberries some as the tea is steeping for more flavor. Made for ZWT6 Zee Zany Zesty Cookzzzzzzz!
I had a box of plain old (and I DO mean old) Lipton's iced tea bags. I thought this would be as good a way as any to use them up. ;) I had frozen raspberries, fresh squeezed lemon juice & I ended up using only 8 tea bags when I realized they were like, Jumbo sized! LOL The end result is absolutely delicious! It's been so hot here & this made a nice, refreshing afternoon drink. Thanks for posting, Rachel! Made & enjoyed for ZWT-6 Team Xtra Hot Dishes! :)
Very refreshing. I love raspberry tea but this wass real raspberry tea. I put just 1/2 cup of sugar to try this sweet but normally I prefer my tea unsweetened. It was realy good reminded me of snapple.
I also left the whole berries in the tea....didn't see that we should remove them or blend them in the recipe. My DD loved it. She is home for Father's Day! It was a bit sweet for me, but I am a wine or water drinker. My review is based on DD's review....had to make it again for her, which is good since I bought a carton of raspberries and needed to use them. Thanks for sharing! Made for my teammate during ZWT7.
Lovely iced tea. I used decaffeinated Earl Grey tea bags just because I saw others used Earl Grey and they were in my cupboard looking at me. I'd like to try this again with orange pekoe tea as I didn't find the tea much detectable. I used less sugar and some more freshly squeezed lemon juice. I will try closer to the amount of sugar called for next time as well, though It was refreshing that way! I also crushed my raspberries like many others and would recommend too and do so again. Made for ZWT7 South & Central America for my team, Food.Commandos
