A cocktail with Crystal Light, from the latest issue of Food & Family. Raspberry, OJ, and rum, yum! For anyone that can't get Crystal Light, it's sugar free fruit drink mix. 1 tub makes 2 quarts, so if you're using a substitute, you would use whatever amount makes 2 quarts.
- 14.78 ml containercrystal light low calorie raspberry drink mix
- 473.18 ml orange juice
- 828.06 ml water
- 118.29 ml spiced rum
- Empty Crystal light tub into large pitcher.
- Add the remaining ingredients, and stir until drink mix is completely dissolved.
- Serve over ice in tall glasses.
I have made this several times now for family parties and it is always a really big hit. The last time I made it- I used 5 Alive instead of the OJ and I used Mango Rum in place of the spiced rum. It turned out really good.
This was such a fantastic drink, I made this last night for some friends and we all really enjoyed it, we all love drinks made with rum! Made as directed, and served over ice....so refreshing and good. I will be making this again very soon (this coming weekend as a matter a fact!), thanks so much for posting, great drink leeannr!.....Kitten :)
I made these, only I didn't use the orange juice, and it was very good-- really refreshing. Nice way to enjoy an afternoon by the pool.
