Awesome recipe! I love this for potlucks, teas, coffee hours, etc. It's also great for bake sales. Not too expensive to make but always sells fast! I make a cardboard bottom and drizzle with the topping. My mom always makes this with sliced almonds sprinkled along the top. A classy breakfast or dessert.people found this review Helpful. This was a great recipe! I served it with coffee and tea for evening company and it was scrumptious! The directions were perfect and it was quick and easy to assemble. I substituted Apricot preserves and added a dash of mace and ginger to the dough. The rum in the icing was the perfect topping. Thanks!people found this review Helpful. This is going straight into my favorites file. So easy, very tasty and sooooo many options. I didn't have raspberry so I used strawberry jam. I added a drop of almond flavoring to the icing (and I used the milk). I also used 1/2 of a 8 oz pkg of cream cheese since I never buy the small ones. This was wonderful. The directions were just right. A nice quick breakfast to make for family or company. I highly reccommend it.people found this review Helpful.
