Made this for a BBQ last night and everyone loved it. I used reduced fat cream cheese which worked great because it is a little softer. I also stirred the onion into the cream cheese which I would certainly do again. This is certainly a repeater!

This recipe was a hit with my family. The flavors were a great combination. Next time I would probably make it a bit differently, though. I would like to integrate the green onions and cashews with the cream cheese, so I would probably beat them together in a bowl first. Also, I'd use less raspberry jam next time, as it seemed a little much.

This was delicious ~ made for our Christmas buffet. I used toasted pecans in place of the cashews, and probably more like 1/2 cup :) Wonderful spread for so little work ~ and rave reviews from the family. Thanks Starrynews for posting ~ another keeper for my bulging binder of zaar recipes. Made for LET'S PARTY TAG, December 2009!

Made this the other day, but instead of using it as a spread for crackers, I mixed all the ingredients together then spread the mixture over a large tortilla! That got rolled up, chilled, then sliced into 10 'pinwheels' & served them that way! ABSOLUTELY GREAT, & thanks, much, for posting the recipe! This is a playful little snack! The green onions and coconut really add depth to this recipe. The cashews were okay, adding a nice crunch, but next time we'll try using pecans, Yum! Thanks for sharing the recipe. :)
