Excellent potato recipe Lorac. I didn't use quite the whole package of ranch dressing mix as my family is very salt sensitive. There was still plenty of flavour.I used light sour cream and 2% milk and they were still very creamy and delicious. Thanks again Lorac for another keeper.
Wonderful - family and friends give it high rating. Agree it has a stuffed potato taste - may want to heat thru before serving as the sour cream and milk cooled them right down.
These were quite delicious. They has a stuffed potato skin kind of flavor...might try adding some cheddar next time. The whole family enjoyed them and they went great along with the grilled steak that I served them with. Thanks for a different way to eat mashed potatoes :)
Yummy!!! Made this tonight with Joann L's Italian beef, and what a great meal we had! I used Yukon gold potatoes and cream...It was SOOO good!!!!
Wow!!! These were simple but packed full of flavor. My family of five really loved these.I served it with Yooper's To Die Crockpot Roast #27208. To cut back on calories, I used low-fat dressing, butter and skim milk. A real keeper. Great to serve when you have company to impress.
I used Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix. Good but not quite what I was expecting. The potatoes turned out to be a little bit too tangy for our taste. It might be better with less sour cream.
I omitted the bacon because I didn't have cooked bacon and I was at the last minute. The potatoes were so good. Even in leftovers they are great. Thanks Lorac :) Made for Name that ingredient tag game
These are really good. I served them with Ranch Chicken and corn and it was a very nice meal. Thank you so much for sharing, my family really liked the added bacon. Also, I added a little of the bacon fat to the potatoes and just eliminated the butter. So good.
I found these to be delicious but a tad bit salty, so I think next time I will cut back to 1/2 pkt. of the Ranch dressing mix and see if that works better for us. Thanks for this recipe Lorac!
