This was so good for a cold winters day. Delicious! I also browned the pork steaks first. The smell was heavenly. I had some mushrooms and carrots that needed to be used up so I threw them in the crock pot also. The potatoes were good but I think next time I'll just use plain mash potatoes.

This dish made a wonderful dinner! Loved the pork chops and the mashed potatoes were really delicious as well! I roasted a medium head of garlic for the mashed potatoes and used two cans of soup with the pork chops, for extra gravy, as directed. The only change I made was to brown the pork chops first as my slow cooker has a browning function. Will definitely make this dish again! Made for Everyday is a Holiday tag, January, 2012.

It was just okay for me. The sauce came out a little salty. However, it was easy to make and good for a weeknight meal. I did not make the mashed potatoes.
