"I have tried several different recipes for ranch dressing, this one taste wonderful. Don't let the word 'lite' fool you this taste like full calorie stuff."

  1. Hey there Paula-I made this dressing for a veggie dip-it was great. I kept the 1 cup mayo, used 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/4 cup buttermilk(I was low on the buttermilk). I fiddled with a bit of 2% milk to get the right consistency, kept the recomended spice amount and added some cracked black pepper-we loved it! Thanks for sharing this recipe. Di

  2. I am Paula. The one who posted this recipe and I have been experimenting. This Ranch Dip is too sweet with the mayo. Cut the mayo, and add sour creme(2 cups)decrease buttermilk to about 1/4 c. Add 2 tsp minced onion and about 2 saltine crackers, crushed fine. Also, add about 1/2 tsp. dill weed. Go ahead and add the garlic salt and onion pwd.,chives and everything in the recipe except for the mayo, its gross.
