    I got this from Belinda Eldrinhoff in 2002. Hers is different than the others I noticed on this site. The butter makes it outrageous! I cut her oil in the dressing by 1/4 cup.

    Ingredients:

    • 8 ounces Dole classic coleslaw (I usually make from scratch instead)
    • 3 ounces ramen noodles (Japanese chuka soba)
    • 4 ounces butter
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup vinegar (apple cider)
    • 1/2 cup oil
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1/2 cup nuts (cashews or slivered almonds)

    Directions:

      Preheat oven to 350.
    2. 2
      Crumble noodles and add butter and seasoning from ramen noodle packs and bake 10 minutes.
    3. 3
      Mix sugar, vinegar, oil and soy as dressing.
    4. 4
      Cool noodles.
    5. 5
      Just before serving mix slaw, noodles and nuts.

      Dress and serve.
