My mother-in laws recipe. Easy to make and always enjoyed after lunch with a cup of tea.

Great cake and so easy to do - I had never made a crumb cake before so I was not sure what to expect but it was yummy and moist and has not lasted even 24 hours - so thank you cookalot#2.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Mix first 3 ingredients -- rub into crumbs.
  2. Save 1 cup crumbs for top.
  3. Mix remaining crumbs with rest of ingredients.
  4. Place in pan and sprinkle 1 cup of crumbs on top.
  5. Bake for 40 min at 350.
