a quick bread; no yeast or abm from jean pare

  1. in large bowl measure all seven dry ingredients.
  2. stir thoroughly.
  3. make a well in the center.
  4. in small bowl beat egg till frothy.
  5. mix in melted butter and milk.
  6. pour into well.
  7. stir just enough to moisten.
  8. scrape into greased 9x5x3 loaf pan.
  9. bake at 350 for 1 hour.
  10. serve plain or toasted.
