  • cream butter, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla.
  • add eggs, salt, baking soda, and raisins.
  • add flour and oats.
  • cook by the tea spoon dropful on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350º for about 10-12 minutes (when edges are brown).

  1. These cookies were great ... just a little crunchy on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside. I did add walnuts because we love our cookies a bit on the nutty side! I got 4 dozen very nice sized cookies. Oh, and I changed the serving size from 1 dozen to 2 cookies per serving (though I can see how you could easily eat a dozen of these!!!). Thanks Babybuttons!
     
  2. These cookies are delicious!! I made a few variations, though. Since DH and I don't like raisins, I turned these into choc chip oatmeal cookies and added pecans as well. I used light margarine, so the cookies came out pretty crumbly. But delicious all the same! I've already eaten 4 of them!
