This was really delicious! I used it in a stir fry of noodles, veggies, eggs, peanuts, and edamame, and it went really nicely. I was tempted to add some crushed chiles but forgot, and I'm glad I forgot because this has a lot of flavor that I might have missed had I added lots of heat. I love the garlic and ginger combo! My only complaint is that it was a touch salty for my tastes (which I NEVER say!) so next time I will add it to a bigger stir fry or leave out a T or two of Braggs. I did thicken the sauce using about 1 T flour and a few T water. Thanks for posting! Made for Veg*n Swap #21.
This was very yummy! All my family enjoyed it which is not usual....I've got picky eaters. I thickened the sauce exactly how instructed and it worked perfectly. I did the sauce first then removed it from the pan. I then added it to a large pan of frozen stir fry veggies when they were done and mixed it all through. I put it over white rice and served it with the Korean Roasted Chicken recipe (also VERY yummy). My family raved about it and thanked me! Yeah!!!!!
This is a quick and delicious little sauce that livened up our stir fried vegies tonight. I used Kikkoman soy as I have never heard of Braggs. made for ZWT 8.
I'm very glad I tried this sauce. It's simply delicious and I'll be using it often. I used Kikkoman's soy sauce rather than Braggs since that's what I had on hand. Made for Veggie Swap 38
Awesome recipe, magpie! This is delicious! I made it a few days ahead so that the garlic and ginger have time to marinate, and I'm sure it will be even better. It took all of five minutes to throw together, and is so much cheaper (and more flexible) than jarred sauce! Made for Spring PAC 2010! Thanks for posting, magpie!
I NEVER would have thought to use Braggs instead of soy sauce. Such a great healthy substitution. Thanks for sharing magpie diner : )
