  • Put baby carrots in an open glass container with the water.
  • Microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes until tender.
  • Drain and toss with orange juice, honey and ginger.

  1. I modified it a little by cooking 1 cup of water and a 1/2 tea of chicken broth with the carrots on top of the stove for about 15 min. Then I added the honey and several dashes of ginger. Stirred the mix and let sit with a lid for 5 min. It was very good.

  3. I needed a quick vegetable dish with my dinner one evening, and this was perfect. Great tasting, and so easy to put together. The only change I would make would be to cover the container while microwaving because my water boiled away and the carrots were a little dry.
