Good and very easy to make. Nice change of pace. I used hormel bacon bits. I followed the recipe exactly as written.

I make green beans really similar to this, so I'll throw my rating your way instead of posting my own recipe. The only change I make is to add a lot more ham (about 4 oz) and I throw two beef bouillon cubes in with them (for 2 cans - probably 1 cube for 1 can). They're so good - definitely my favorite way to eat green beans.

I make these often as it is how my mom made green beans when I was growing up :) I sometimes add a sprinkling of beef bouillon for extra flavor, and of course, plenty of freshly ground black pepper. An easy and delicious side to 'most any meal!
