- 1 (15 ounce) can green beans, cut or (15 ounce) can French style green beans
- 1 tablespoon chopped country ham or 1 tablespoon chopped bacon
directions
- Place green beans in a small saucepan. Add country ham or bacon.
- Warm over low heat, about 15 minutes. (The beans will be warm before then but the extra time allows them to absorb the flavor of the ham.).

I make green beans really similar to this, so I'll throw my rating your way instead of posting my own recipe. The only change I make is to add a lot more ham (about 4 oz) and I throw two beef bouillon cubes in with them (for 2 cans - probably 1 cube for 1 can). They're so good - definitely my favorite way to eat green beans.
