Love it, love the way the flavor gets in the pasta.

I have never had fagioli before so did not really know what to expect... this soup was WONDERFUL! I agree with a previous review that the vinegar and parmesan cheese are really what made the flavor so outstanding. I left the garlic in, and grated the carrots rather that coarse chopping, but other than I followed the stovetop direction exactly.

Easy, rich, delicious soup. Instead of the white kidney beans, I've made it both with white beans and with chick peas. Don't leave out the cheese topping. That's what makes it so good.

This is wonderful! Definite keeper here. Tastes like you slaved over a hot stove but it is so easy! Thanks Tweeky

This was quite good and easy to make! I used great nortern beans and red kidney beans. I used the elbow macaroni. I really enjoyed it and will be taking some to my daughter in law, who just had a baby. She's Italian, so I'm pretty sure she will enjoy it! Thanks!

This was excellent! I used the microwave instructions as our power is out and I'm dependent on a generator. I thought the vinegar, parmesan and parsley added just before serving, made the dish. The only change I would make next time is to add a lot more garlic. I also left the garlic I did use in the dish. This certainly was quick and easy. While I wouldn't say it was as good as pasta fagioli simmered half the day, it was very good.

This is similiar to the way I make it, except I use a blend of Provencal herbs, and add small slices of cooked Italian sausage.
