Quick Ginger Cookies

ingredients
- 177.44 ml shortening
- 236.59 ml white sugar
- 1 egg
- 59.16 ml molasses
- 473.18 ml flour
- 9.85 ml baking soda
- 4.92 ml cinnamon
- 4.92 ml clove
- 9.85 ml ginger
- 2.46 ml salt
directions
- Cream shortening. Add sugar, egg and Fancy Molasses. Add dry ingredients. Mix well.
- Make into small balls, roll in white sugar, and press down with a fork.
- Bake at 375F 8-10 minutes.

Very good cookies! I used lite butter instead of shortening, otherwise made as directed. These had a great spicy flavor. Mine baked up perfectly after 10 minutes. Thanks for sharing your recipe! Made for My 3 Chefs, November 2009

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
