awesome change of pace for meatballs! i used kittencal's Kittencal's Italian Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meatballs (which i LOVE!!). only made a few changes: used 2 jars of gravy, and instead of dry sherry, i used 1/4 cup red wine. this is so great! everyone really enjoyed! i couldn't decide whether to serve with buttered egg noodles or roasted garlic mashed taters...so i made both! everyone tried it with both and loved it both ways!! anyway, thanks for another keeper!!
Delicious!!! This recipe gave us a GREAT dinner tonight!!! I did add a can of beef broth, and extra wine (I used a chardonnay). I LOVE gravy and this is the best gravy I've ever had!!! Also, my husband told me, the next time we have hamburger steaks, I had BETTER make this gravy for it! This is a winner FOR SURE!!!! I added the beef broth and extra wine, because our preference is for more sauce or gravy, and it was WONDERFUL!
Very savory dish. Served for appetizer for football games this weekend and it was a hit. Everyone commented that it was a nice change from our ordinary meatballs. And loved how simple it was to put together. Thanks for sharing.
YUM! I missed the part where it says to do it in the crockpot so I did it all on the stove top and it was awesome. I mixed up my meatballs and baked at 425 for about 20 min. I mixed together the sauce (using two jars of gravy), added the cooked meatballs and let simmer for about 10 min. We all loved this, I will definitely be making again. Thanks for posting!
YUM!! My whole family loved this and it is SO easy to put together...a major plus. I've added this to my regular rotation. I did double the gravy because it didn't seem like it would have been enough for us. Glad I did. Thanks for sharing NurseDi, I've tried a lot of your recipes, they've all been excellent.
These were just rediculously easy and tasted wonderful! I doubled the recipe but only used 1 pkg of the soup mix because i was afraid it would be too salty with 2. Took them to work for halloween and everyone gobbled them up!
Made these for todays football watching, and the taste was outstanding for simple crockpot meatballs. Used a very dry sherry with great results! Served over wide egg noodles. I was afraid that there would not be enough sauce, so that was doubled. Thank you, NurseDi! :)

Yum! I always have meatballs in my freezer as part of my OAMC blitz and this recipe was another great way to use them. I used Copycat Lipton's Onion Soup Mix for the onion soup mix. Thanks for sharing this, I will be making this again soon!
