ingredients
- 236.59 ml shortening
- 236.59 ml brown sugar
- 118.29 ml granulated sugar
- 9.85 ml vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 591.47 ml flour (sifted)
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 4.92 ml salt
- 340.19 g M&M' (plain, not with nuts)
directions
- Cream shortening and sugars.
- Beat in vanilla and eggs.
- Add flour, baking soda and salt, mixing well.
- Stir in M&M'S.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheets.
- Bake 10 minutes at 375°.

Good. I used butter flavored crisco and a whole 12 oz bag of m&ms. I got more like 36 cookies using a cookie scoop. -
My kids really enjoyed these! I used 1/2 butter flavored crisco and 1/2 margarine. They went togehter quickly as promised too! Another keeper for sure, I don't think will last long enough to make it on any cookie platters however... -
these were pretty good i just dumped the whole 12 oz. bag in because my sister wanted "extra mm" which is annoying kid sister speak for extra m&ms. they didn't last too long around here!

I have the same recipe, but I put a couple of M&M's on each cookie before baking. That gets a little tricky, but who cares? If they fall off I just eat 'em!!! P.S. My husband loves them, too. -

My pet peeve is telemarketers,Every time I get busy with my recipe hobby one of them will call and knock me off the web,and of coarse I waste precious time getting back on.I am disabled,so I no longer work,and have plenty of time to pursue my hobby.
My best dish I make is Lasagna but thats just because I love lasagna.I am also asked to bring No-Bake cookies at all of our potlucks, and linger-longers at church.Meat loaf is another often requested dish I am asked to bring...... NOT MY meatloaf but .... My husbands.
He is as good a cook as I am,He can cook anything I can cook, and I can cook anything he can cook,but some things I make better,and some He makes better...So we do a lot of compromising at our house.
