  1. Absolutely excellent recipe! Very easy to follow and worked well with coconut sugar instead of brown sugar. Thank you so much.

  2. I used the apples asked in the ingredients. I used less than 1/2 cup of brown sugar (probably 1/4 cup) cause I didn't have enough left. When I added the spices I was afraid my son would not like it. But when I gave him a little ramequin, he ate it all in just a few minutes. So he really liked it. Great recipe and it was very easy to do :) Thanks QuietPoet2004 :) Made for Cookbook tag game

  3. Delicious! I had Braeburn apples on hand so I used those and just cut back on the sugar a tad. I did puree this since my toddlers don't care for chunky applesauce, but once I gave it a quick whirl in my food processor it was the perfect texture. Lovely sweetness. I did add a little more cinnamon as I (and my kids) like it that way. Made for PAC Spring '11.

  4. This was very nice! I cut it down to two apples and used one granny smith and one pinata apple (I don't care for red delicious). They seemed to cook at slightly different rates so one was done before the other but I just left it a bit chunky (I like chunky applesauce anyway). I accidentally dumped too much cinnamon but scraped most of it out and it was fine. I like making homemade applesauce and this was a good one! Thanks for sharing :)
