  • Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add onion; cook, stirring occasionally, for 1 to 2 minutes or until onion is tender.
  • Stir in water, evaporated milk, potato flakess, seasoned salt and dill weed.
  • Heat until mixture just comes to a boil.
  • Season with pepper.

  1. Always on the lookout for more soup recipes, I was very happy to find this one! I followed it right on down, with the exception of including almost 3/4 cup of a diced & slightly mashed baked potato that I have left over from the day before! And since I do like a little "chunk" in my otherwise creamy soups, that worked out just fine!
