"A really nice recipe for chili sauce when tomatoes are out of season.Can be used in your favorite recipe or served with dinner."

ingredients

³⁄₄ cup sugar
1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
¹⁄₂ cup vinegar
2 large chopped onions
1 tablespoon salt
¹⁄₂ teaspoon cinnamon
¹⁄₂ teaspoon pepper
¹⁄₄ teaspoon clove

directions

Mix all ingredients together in a cooking pot and simmer for 2 hours. Put in sterilized jar.
