It was pretty easy to make. Another suggestion instead of nuts is frozen toffee. It doesn't bake all the way, and is absolutely delicious!

  1. Heat oven to 350 deg F.
  2. In small microwave-safe bowl, place chocolate.
  3. Microwave at high (100%) 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until chocolate is melted when stirred; cool slightly.
  4. In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until well blended.
  5. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
  6. Blend in melted chocolate, flour and baking powder.
  7. Stir in nuts, if desired.
  8. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until almost set. Cool slightly.
  9. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
  10. Cool completely.
