Reviews

  1. This was excellent. I had to make a couple substitutions: instead of 2 cans of black eyed peas, I used 1 can and supplemented with frozen corn. I also did not have teriyaki sauce, so I used Tempura Sauce (by Kikkoman) and I reduced the amount of water to 1 cup. Served over hot rice as suggested. I used about 1 cup of diced cooked ham. Such a great mix of flavors in this dish - very pleasing and something we'd love to have again sometime! And goes together very easily. Thanks.
