I followed this recipe to a "T"...and it was just sort of plain tasting. I was hoping for more from the addition of the half-and-half and gravy. I made it with "healthy" penne pasta...and we were not as pleased as I had hoped. I will not be making it again. Thank you for posting the recipe though!
A very good casserole. I increased the sauce ingredients by at least double because we like things saucy. Even then, it was still quite dry; the sauce amounts listed in the recipe would have made this way too dry for us. The flavours were quite good; I really liked the addition of the gravy and the cream. Delicious as leftovers too!
The only changes I made were a finely chopped onion and a splash of white wine. We loved it and this will replace all my pasta meat sauce recipes!
Very Good! I did use about 1/2 cup more marinara sauce and gravy as that was the amount in the jars I used. Recipe was loved by my husband and also my daughter, her husband and two small children. This recipe is definately a keeper.
This was really good. I also added a 1/2 cup more of each marinara and gravy. I made my own gravy for this also. Next time I will add another 1/2 cup of each b/c we would like it a little more saucy. But I will definetly make again, as it was very yummy!
This was a wonderful, delicious recipe! Only problem was didn't have enough liquid. Next time I will up the liquids a half a cup. The taste was great! I will make this again Thanks ; )
