Quick and Easy Vodka Sauce

I love this served over penne pasta noodles and with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. I use my Marinara Sauce as the base.Make sure the sour cream is at room temperature or it will curdle when you add it to the sauce.

  1. In large, heavy skillet, simmer the marinara sauce and vodka, over low heat, stirring often, for 20 minutes.
  2. Stir in sour cream and continue to simmer, on low heat, until the sauce is heated through.
  3. Remove from heat and add the parmesan, salt and pepper.

It was super quick and easy! Unfortunately, did curdle the sour cream just a tad, but it's still pretty good (just sprinkled more cheese on it). Would definitely like to try and make again.

I had this made and on the table in 30 minutes and my boys loved it! I served it over spaghetti noodles and mixed the Parmesan in at the end. I used my brother in law's special marinara sauce from his restaurant. Made for photo tag.
