Mouth watering chops! If your schedule is tight, these will fit right in! We like rice for a side.
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 1⁄2 cups chopped onions
- 1⁄2 cup pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- Brown chops in oil.
- Add onions, cook 2 minutes.
- Mix juice, sugar, vinegar and salt.
- Pour over chops.
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
After much debating I gave this a 3* only though because DH prefers a crisy edge to his pork. For ease of cooking it was definitely a 5. We really enjoyed the flavour. I will be making this again. Thanks for posting. Cheers Jen
One of the best pork chop recipes i have had recently--Very quick and easy to make,
DH said the sauce was tasty!! Not a word in his usual vocabulary. Used oj instead of pineapple juice; had oj on hand. Thickened the sauce a little with WONDRA. This will be a well used recipe in my box.
