We liked this but I was suprised at how much I could taste the ketchup. Mine also didn't thicken up so I had to add some cornstarch to get it to thicken. It was fast and easy and that is always a winner in my book.

I hate to give it such a poor rating but no one in my house liked it. Followed the recipe but then had to add a little more seasoning. So bland. Will not make again.

Quick, easy, and adaptable - better than the Hamburger Helper version. Next time I'll probably add a little more flour and a little less ketchup. If you want more flavor you can add other things without killing the entire recipe. Overall it's a good, inexpensive meal. I'll make this one again. Thanks!

It was fast, but it lacked flavor. It needed to be more tart and the ketchup seemed an odd choice to me. We probably will stick to our usual recipe.

The simplicity of this recipe and the nice, mild flavor are outstanding in my opinion. This is a great meal for busy people who need a homemade meal and inexpensive ingredients. Thanks for sharing!

Not too bad. It was fast and easy to make. The only thing I did differently was increased the amount of worcestershire sauce. I will make it again.

Made as directed except I used fresh mushrooms and also added chopped garlic. Still tasted a little bland for my taste though.

Wasn't too impressed with this recipe. Turned out too liquidy I thought, although it was better after I added some more flour mixed with a bit of water. Just overall not the creamy type of stroganoff that my mom used to make. I'll have to see if I can track down her recipe I guess! The kids liked this okay, and I served it with fresh baby potatoes and green beans.

Quick, easy and oh so good! I used fresh mushrooms and garlic that I sauteed with the onion and ground beef. Cut back on the ketchup to about 1 tablespoon and added some paprika. Just a great recipe for those nights when time is short, but want to serve up a delicious and satisfying meal. Thank you MommyMakes!

This was great! Even my picky eater liked it. Though I used ground turkey instead of beef and added more beef boulion granuals to make up the taste difference. Thanks for the recipe!

This recipe is fantastic, easy, quick, and has lots of flavor. I’m very glad you posted this recipe thank you. It’s just as fast as Hamburger Helper but so much better tasting! You could taste the tang from the ketchup and the zip that the Worcestershire gave this dish. I boiled 12 ounces of egg noodles, drained them then returned them to the hot pan and back to the warm stove (burner off of course). After a few minutes had passed I then combined the noodles with the stroganoff. Stirred and served. The kids loved it. Thanks again for sharing this recipe with us.

This recipe lives up to it's name--quick and easy--but it's also a superb stroganoff! I needed to use some fresh cremini mushrooms so I sauteed them with the meat and onions. I goofed and put all the broth in at once and then just stirred the flour right in, but it blended fine. I didn't need to add any salt or pepper, but I did add another tablespoon of flour to get it as thick as I wanted. The recipe doesn't mention at what heat to cook everything, but medium-high worked best for me.

Excellent recipe. Wonderful taste and texture. The only things that I do differently are to omit the ketchup and mushrooms (personal preference) and to add all the broth to the meat, then mix the sour cream with the flour and add that. Thanks.
