  1. Delicious! Extremely easy, and tasted great. I think the trick was to use Challah bread. Definitely worth making again!

  2. This is how I do FT but I add a tiny pinch of salt and a tsp. of sugar. My kids may or may not use syrup or jam so this gives it a touch of sweetness. I only got 2 slices of bread coated so I will double it next time. It's delicious. Loved it. Thanks! - Sometimes I get just 4 slices moistened if I dip them quickly in the egg mixture!

  3. I made French Toast this morning and it was delicious! I left two slices of bread in the frige last night unwrapped so they would dry out some. The recipe was just right for 2 slices of bread. I followed the recipe exactly except for substituting one teaspoon of powdered sugar for the cinnamon in the egg mix. I cooked them in butter in a non-stick skillet at medium and had no trouble with scorched butter. I wish I had taken a picture as they looked so perfect. I had been hungry for French Toast for quite some time and recently had some in a local eatery for $6 which was nowhere near this good. And to think I made mine for about 50 cents with less effort than getting in my car and driving to the diner. I heartily recommend this recipe. P.S. I used REAL maple syrup.

  4. It was ok. I made it first exactly as the recipe directs. If you make it, add salt and black pepper to the mix. You will like it much better.

  5. Delicious Fast and easy!
