  1. Let me preface this with saying I've never been successful making a "wok" dish. This recipe has given me hope and may spur me on to try again! The steps were so clear and simple. I used thin cut top round steak and ground ginger. We were provided with a wonderfully delicious meal served over brown rice. Thanks, Sarah, for the new confidence! MERP'd for Potluck Tag.

  2. This was not a recipe I will be using again. It was very bland and if the hubby doesnt enjoy then it just woulnt work in my house cause he likes everything. Sorry.

  3. The whole family enjoyed this simple dish. We felt it lacked a little something though, so next time I'll add some garlic and maybe red pepper flakes and a little more soy sauce just to perk it up a bit. I doubled the sauce, since we all like lots. The store was having a sale on steamer bag veggies so I used one of broccoli and one of broccoli, carrots and cauliflower instead of cooking the fresh in the pan. This is probably the best beef and broccoli recipe I've tried so far, so I know I'll be making it again. Thanks for sharing!

  4. So easy to make for a quick weeknight meal. I needed to add a little more cornstarch to get the sauce to thicken.

  5. My and husband and I enjoyed the dish. I cut up onions and mushrooms and added to the pan with the beef. I forgot about the soy sauce and ginger so I added it at the end before adding the broth and cornstarch mixture. Of course I seasoned the beef before cooking it. The sauce thickened pretty good .......definitely making this again!!!
