  1. DH & 2DS approved! The only things I did differently were using Johnny's Seafood seasoning, and adding a dash of lemon juice. This was a wonderful alternative to the plain old hamburger. Thanks for posting! UPDATE: We come back to this time and time again! They are a delicious burger that come together so quickly. Delicious!!!

  2. So easy and perfect for a summer day. Just like someone said, it was like a fancy tuna melt. I used 3/4 of a cup of mayo because that's all we had, and I think it was plenty. Also good cold on crackers, like a crab salad.

  3. We loved this! Like a tuna melt, but better. I think I used a tad less mayo but other than that, I stuck to the recipe. I have a little left over that I'm going to make appetizers with by broiling on a baguette. Thanks!

  4. Excellent burger! Made for ZWT III 2007.

  5. MMMMM...these were very good. I left the tomato out of 4 of them and put it in the other 3. I loved the tomato in it. I also left out the celery since none of us like it. I will make these many times.

Tweaks

  1. I almost gave this 3 stars but, I think if I had used different crab, I would have LOVED it not just liked it! I used a can of Trader Joe's crab meat which is good but very mild tasting. I thought the whole thing was a little bland,so I increased the seasoning(no extra salt was needed) and added a little bit of lemon juice and hot sauce which helped. Instead of a bun I used a piece of naan which was good; I think an onion roll or sourdogh bread would also be good with this too. Reviewed for ZWT3

I don't think there's anything better than spending time with family and friends and enjoying delicious food together. I just love food. I love reading about food, writing about food, cooking food and.. not surprisingly, eating food. My latest passion is food-photography! I'm still learning a lot, but I'm trying to post photos with all my recipes and reviews. I read recipe books, magazines and food blogs like novels. I get such satisfaction when someone enjoys a meal or dessert that I have prepared. It is the biggest compliment to me when my family and friends rave about my cooking. There are so many terrific recipes on this site. If I'm looking for something, I'm sure to find it here. I do have stacks of my own favorite recipes which I am slowly but surely getting in my cookbooks here . I have had so many awesome reviews and fabulous photos taken of my recipes... I try to thank everyone personally .. I sincerely appreciate each and every review and or comment left. I know it takes time to photograph and upload photos - So I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for finding and trying my recipes and taking the extra effort...
