I was a little worried at times, but in the end, this turned out very well. I used my bread machine on the dough cycle, then removed the dough, shaped it into buns, let them rise and baked them. When I took the dough out of the bread machine, it seemed, well, I can't think of a nice way to put it, but, greasy. There is quite a lot of butter in this bread compared to the amount of flour. The temperature in my kitchen also was a little cool today, so it took the buns longer than I expected to rise. The baked buns, however, are very nice, light, fluffy and certainly not greasy. I haven't bothered with the glaze. I think the buns are delicious without. Thank you very much for sharing this recipe with us. (For the candied fruit, I used candied cherries, angelica and orange peel. I was toying with the idea of using dried fruit, but didn't this time.)
