EAsy Peasy!!! Perfect oatmeal cookie recipe. Oven temp followed as per direction, 350, no higher or lower! Great cookie!
I just tried this and dropped onto non stick sheets. They burnt to a crisp in 8 minutes. Now I'm reducing the heat to see if the next batch turns out.
this is the recipe of my childhood! i'm going to try using lard instead, to make it healthier, but if that doesn't work, i'll stick with the shortening. thank you so much for posting this!
Easy to follow and deliciously nutritious. Love oatmeal raisin.
I made this today and it was wonderful. Thanks for sharing. I used
currents instead of raisins and added 1/2 C of chocolate chips and 1/2 C of chopped walnuts.
This is the best recipe. I omit the raisins and add a other dried fruits instead like cherries, apricots, blueberries, and dates.
Thanks for this recipe ~ I buy store brand oatmeal these day's and I lost my recipe for the Quaker oats recipe. :)
These were really good! I left out the nuts and added a few more raisins instead. Thanks!!
I just took these cookies out of the oven and they are sooooooo good! I made a few adjustments to get them down to 1 WW point/cookie: used light margarine for the shortening, egg beater instead of egg, no nuts and 3/4 c raisins instead of 1 c. I used a small cookie scoop and got 60 cookies out of 1 batch. YUM!
