Puppy Chow

"This makes a lot. Puppy Chow freezes well and tastes great straight out of freezer with a hot cup of coffee. Make sure you get the correct number of ounces for all ingredients as the size of boxes and jars varies. You may need more powdered sugar. I use real butter, Jiff peanut butter and Nestle chocolate chips. I use one of those large bags that you can cook a turkey in to shake the powdered sugar on it."

• 3 -4 cups powdered sugar
• 1 (18 ounce) box Crispix cereal
• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 18 ounces peanut butter

directions

1. Put half of the powdered sugar in a large bag. I use a cooking bag for a turkey.
2. Put cereal in a large bowl.
3. Melt butter, chocolate chips and peanut butter together over low heat. Stir well.
4. Pour melted mixture over cereal. Stir to coat all pieces.
5. Put coated cereal in the large bag add the other half of powdered sugar and shake and turn to coat cereal.
