Well this is sort of a review ... I made a recent recipe almost identical to this last year. The only difference was just a pinch of seasoning adding some cloves simmered in the apple juice first and then reducing lightly.
And we served with the gingersnaps too, but did shortbread cookies, also oven fried pear slices in cookie crumbs and pear fritters also some fresh fruit as well which were really good.
Nice change from the average dip. I will try yours but it was so similar I thought I comment. The small change was not enough to make a big difference in the taste and I am sure your's is equally as good.
Very good fall dip. Need to try graham crackers next time.

My goodness, I thought there was going to be a stampede! I made this last weekend for a football get together. Served it with gingersnaps and boxed (read crispy!) snickerdoodles. Outstanding. All the flavors of fall and lowfat, too! It's good at room temperature, very cold, and DH wants to try freezing it in the ice cream maker next. Thank you for a wonderful new addition to my Fall guest table!
