I love pumpkin seeds but had never tried boiling them. It really improved the texture and plumped them up. My toddler could even eat them. I did add some garlic salt. Very tasty! Thanks!

I made this recipe with a group of folks whom have psychiatric disabilities, and we had A BALL!! Unfortunately, our (really BIG) pumpkin didn't have all that many seeds, but we had so much fun with this recipe! Followed all directions, and added some seasoned salt before baking. Everyone loved these seeds, and now they are begging me to buy another pumpkin! I think boiling the seeds really made them plump up, and although I am not a fan of pumpkin seeds, I couldn't help myself!! Thanks for a great recipe (and thanks from my folks...I asked them for their ratings, and they all told me to give this one 5 plus stars!) ~Manda

Boilingnthe pumpkin seeds first makes them taste even better when done! Only problem I had was the cooking time. I took mine out after 25 minutes but should have taken out around 20 mins. Have a feeling the cooking time should be changed.

These were perfect! I really like the results of boiling the seeds first! I followed the directions exactly and wouldn't change a thing! I will be using this recipe again!

Today my daughter's kindergarten class carved pumpkins and I took the seeds home to roast. I followed this recipe exactly with great results. I liked the way that boiling them really plumps them up. I packed these in individual bags, one for each of the kids in the class. I will be making this recipe again the next time we carve a pumpkin. Thanks for posting this recipe!
