I’m on a pumpkin kick lately. These would be really good with lemon or orange flavored tea. Apple butter would be wonderful on these too. 10-12 small scones

  1. Preheat oven to 400. In a mixing bowl, beat together butter, sugar, eggs and pumpkin. Stir in flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  2. Roll out to ½ inch. Cut into rounds and bake for 15-18 minutes. Serve warm.

good? not so much. The pumpkin flavor was overtaken by the take of raw flour..I guess due to the lack of leavening agent? My attempt was not a success.
