Directions

  1. Mix together in order given all but last 3 ingredients.
  2. Pour into ungreased 9"x13" pan.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix over pie filling.
  4. Pour melted butter over cake mix.
  5. Sprinkle with nuts.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  7. Serve with whipped cream.

Really great and easy to make. I used butter buds instead of the butter, egg substitues, and 3/4 cup sugar and 3/4 cup sugar substitute to lessen the calories and fat, but it turned out grreat and terrificly satisfying.

I decided to veer from my normal recipe. This just didnt work for me at all. I ended up with hot flour on top and pumpkin custard underneath. I big waste, considering I used all organic products. I'll be using my regular pumpkin pudding cake recipe next time.
