Pumpkin Pie Squares

This is a wonderful holiday potluck-dinner dessert. It's fast and easy to make. There probably won't be any left to take home, so make two...one for your party, one for your family. It is good any time of the year, so don't wait for just the holidays:)!!
Directions:

Combine flour, oats, and 1/2 cup brown sugar in a medium bowl. Cut in 1/2 cup butter with a pastry blender (or 2 knives scissor-style) until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press mixture evenly into an ungreased 13-x9-x2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Combine pumpkin and next 7 ingredients. stirring well. Pour over baked crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Place 1/2 cup brown sugar in a small bowl; cut in 2 tablespoons butter with a pastry blender ( or 2 knives scissor-style) until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle over pumpkin mixture. Bake an additional 20 minutes or until set. Cool and cut into squares. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
