I'm a newbie to pumpkin seeds, but I really enjoyed this recipe. I had a friend try them to see if they were too chewy or overdone, but she said they tasted just like pumpkin seeds are supposed to, and she also liked the sweet variation. I found myself going back to them over and over and grabbing another handful. My children are young, and they thought they were too hard to chew, but I will see how they feel about them next year. Thanks for the recipe!

These were a bit more work than what I usually do to my pumpkin seeds, which is throw them in the oven with olive oil and salt. But the results were well worth it! These are so good! I can't stop eating them! I love the salty-sweet combination! I didn't know pumpkin seeds could be so tasty! Great healthy snack, full of vitamin A and E!
Chewy with a bit of sweetness. My 2 yr. old can't stop eating them and my hubby and I realized that we can't either. We never have had pumpkin seeds before this so we weren't sure what to expect but you can bet these will become a new autumn tradition in our house. Our 3 pumpkins totaled abotu 44 lbs. and it took about 3 hours to dry them out. The seeds were ginormous! They weren't in a single layer though, either, so that is because of us. My hubby actually made this all by himself so you know it has to be easy to understand. His kitchen experience unsupervised is pretty limited. Thanks for sharing. We like it a lot!
These were really yummy. I usually throw away my pumpkin seeds but not any more. I think I had my flame a bit high in the pan so mine were kind of toasted but this added to the flavour. Yum!
